Pune : Extended Metro Service Hours During Ganeshotsav 2024
In light of the upcoming Ganeshotsav, Pune Metro has announced extended service hours and an increase in the number of trips to accommodate the large number of citizens flocking to the city’s Ganesha mandals. The metro service will now operate until midnight, offering greater convenience to commuters visiting the central part of the city to witness the elaborate celebrations.
The extension in service hours aims to provide citizens with a comfortable and efficient mode of transport during the festival. With the expected increase in foot traffic, the additional metro trips will ease congestion and ensure smooth transit for passengers. Authorities have encouraged residents to take advantage of this extended service, which not only reduces travel time but also alleviates the burden on other forms of public transport.
Pune Metro Time Table During Pune Ganeshotsav 2024 :
1. Date 7th Sep 2024 To 9th Sep 2024 From morning 6AM To 11PM Night Total 17Hrs.
2. Date 10th Sep 2024 To 16th Sep 2024 From morning 6AM To 12PM Night Total 18Hrs.
3. Date 17th Sep 2024 To 18th Sep 2024 From morning 6AM To 6AM Total 24Hrs (During Ganesh Visarjan).
As Pune prepares to celebrate Ganeshotsav, these changes are expected to be a major relief for devotees and visitors heading towards the famous Ganpati mandals in the heart of the city.
