Bangladesh Struggles to Post a Competitive Score
After being asked to bat first, Bangladesh was bundled out for 127 runs in 19.5 overs. Mehdi Hasan Miraj’s 35 runs and captain Shanto’s 27 were the only notable contributions from Bangladesh’s batting lineup, which struggled against India’s disciplined bowling attack. The standout bowlers for India were Arshdeep Singh, who took 3 wickets for just 14 runs, and Varun Chakraborty, who claimed 3 wickets for 31 runs.
