IAS Transfer Orders in Maharashtra: Jitendra Dudi Replaces Dr. Suhas Diwase as Pune Collector; Santosh Patil Appointed as Satara Collector

Mumbai: In a significant administrative reshuffle in Maharashtra, Jitendra Dudi has been appointed as the new Collector of Pune. This comes as part of the recent transfer orders issued by the state government under the General Administration Department.

As per the notification issued by V. Radha, the Under Secretary of the General Administration Department, the decision comes as a part of a wider administrative reshuffle across the state. Jitendra Dudi, an IAS officer of the 2016 batch, is now entrusted with the responsibility of heading Pune’s district administration. He replaces Dr. Suhas Diwase, who had held the position previously. This change in leadership marks a new chapter for the Pune district under Dudi’s guidance.

In an associated move, Santosh Patil, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pune Zilla Parishad, has been appointed as the new Collector of Satara. Santosh Patil will take over the administrative duties from Dudi in Satara. Patil’s expertise in district-level governance is expected to bring efficiency and stability to Satara’s administration.

In a letter issued by the General Administration Department, it was instructed that the officers should hand over their current charges to the designated officers on the advice of the Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division. This would ensure a smooth transition of power and responsibilities across the districts.

These changes in Maharashtra’s administrative structure reflect the ongoing efforts to streamline the functioning of the state government and ensure effective governance at the district level.

As the new year begins, the reshuffling of key officers in districts like Pune and Satara aims to bring a renewed focus on developmental projects, public welfare, and administrative efficiency.
